A few years ago, I upgraded my site to an Understrap portfolio child theme. The old Gallery page has been replaced with a Portfolio dropdown list in the top menu bar. You can select the specific portfolio category from the list.
I no longer use Jetpack or Yoast SEO. I now use Rank Math because it’s simpler and has a lot of tools included that are useful. With this, I was able to reduce the number of plugins.
I used to use Bitnami on my old Mac and then on my Linux-based laptop for testing purposes. I’ve moved on from using MAMP and LAMP. I think in the future, I’ll make a subdomain for testing new website designs because I can edit it from any computer across the web.
