2D Still images

This page includes a brief collection of scanned images.

The thing about these images is that unless I strategically place them on the glass in planned locations, the images are not reproducible. Also the color is different with each scan. I do this in the daytime with the natural light from the window. Of course if I wanted consistent lighting, I could purchase a couple of daylight bulbs to shine upon the objects. But Organic light seems to fit better with Organic shapes on the screen. In essence, the digital computer is viewing the natural world around it with its mechanical eye. The scanner is not projecting light at the objects. But in fact is receiving the light much like a human eye. Or as if it were a robotic probe on Mars collecting data on what it sees. So, now I'm beginning to see a relation to my interests in reading about the Mars probes.
